Requirement Summary

The EMEA Region has difficulty seeing their top line Year to Date figures which look at both Shipped and Open Orders. This report will provide a view at various levels which will enable better monitoring of the overall Sales Performance at various levels which focus on the product.

There are 4 reports which need creating to show information as follows by:
1. Regional, SBU, Country, Sales Rep.
2. Regional ,SBU ,Style, License.
3. Regional, Style, Country, Sales Rep.
4. Regional, Style, Country, Sales Rep.

Functional Requirement

This report is based on the existing Shipped and Open Report SA160. There are 3 further revisions to these requirements and each revision can be treated as a separate set of Parameters:

1. To create or modify one single BI Report which displays order values / revenue based on SA160 for the following:
2. The information needs to be displayed on a monthly basis, showing all calendar months for the current year.

Solution Summary

1. Need to create report to show the Order values/ revenue based on SA160 report for Shipped Order and Open Orders.
2. Need to show the values on a monthly basis and need to show all months for the current year.
3. Need to create a Parameter for Current year value.
4. Need to create a running total of Shipped Order and Open Order at each level of the report.
5. Need to show the total value of Shipped Order and Open Order at each level of the report.
6. Need to create Monthly Quantity formula in the designer to show the Monthly Quantities at each level of the report.
7. Need to calculate the previous Year Shipped Order values by month on each level of the report.
8. Need to create four levels in the report as Regional, Country, Sales Rep and SBU.

Solution Details

1. Need to Start changes for the Multiprovider source and query.
2. Need to create Groupings in the report and apply dynamic grouping as below:
3. Need to create Formulas to show the Order Values/ revenue based on SA160 report for Shipped Order and Open Orders.
4. Need to create formuals to show the values on monthly basis and need to show all months for the current year.
5. Need to create Year Parameter in the report to accept the Current Year value.
5. Need to create RT of Shipped Order and Open Order at each level of the report.
6. Need to create four levels in the report as Regional, Country, Sales Rep and SBU.
7. Need to create Monthly Quantity formula in the designer to show the Monthly Quantities at each level of the report.
8. Based on the Current year parameter in designer, we need to calculate previous year values on each level of the report.
